One of the most important topics in business is ou One of the most important topics in business is our boundaries. We often underestimate the impact this can have for us, our life experience. Boundaries even impact our cash flow and our ability to hold and expand ourselves. Clear boundaries are essential to keep your business and yourself growing. When you listen to your body, it will guide you to set your boundaries. Not having boundaries opens energetic leakages for other capacities such as money, nervous system, or receiving capacity. Boundaries is the container holding it all together. In this “New Business Paradigm with Elaira” podcast episode, I discuss all about the Boundaries Capacity in depth, my definition of what it is and how it can show up in business and your personal life. In these crazy times we are living when everything In these crazy times we are living when everything is upside down, often not what it seems, so confusing who is who, super unclear what can you trust and what not, no guaranteed pathways how to build thriving business anymore, I came to conclusion (and probably you too) that only thing you can reliably trust in the midst of it all is YOURSELF AND HOW YOUR BODY COMMUNICATES TO YOU ALL THE TIME. You have to learn how to manage yourself, how to find safety in the middle of the chaos or overflow of abundance, how to regulate yourself, understand where your body is leading you, and how it is saying NO, where are your boundaries and how to make the right decisions for you. There was not more prominent time to claim your power and build what you want. And you already know that. Due to that, I believe you simply can’t afford anymore not to know that anymore. And if you still don’t take this seriously, this is your sign and invitation that you should. You have to take care of your nervous system & build your nervous system capacity! Healing, expanding, and learning how to build my nervous system capacity, was only thing that made sense and core ingredient influencing my huge shifts and expansions in my business this year. It's like I learnt a different 6 sense or way of relating with the world, it not only opened the new field of possibilities, it allowed me different level of embodiment too. My capacity based business growth model with 8 core capacities, my signature programs such as "Capacity Path" and "Nervous System Care" were result of this work that I didn't have access prior. Growing your business as a slow kind of love... Growing your business as a slow kind of love... We were conditioned to grow businesses fast, reach the peaks, grasp every opportunity and then go for next leap right away. What I noticed when I fell for this conditioning myself, it’s like the unwritten rule of success in the old business paradigm: faster, more, bigger! And then we skip the pauses, taking time to just breathe, and even if we go on vacation or do self care practices, we still think about work. We don’t let ourselves to rest or disconnect fully because our parasympathetic nervous system (rest, recharge, integration time) is not even considered as part of “building business”. The thing is, the root of it has some unhealed trauma response elements: somewhere deep down not trusting that success is guaranteed for you, some scarcity feeling to grasp “as much food as possible” right away. But in my own experience when you do business like this and don’t allow breaks and integration when it needs to happen, it’s almost inevitable that you will experience burnout or reach your capacity cap of growth, sooner or later. The problem I see with this, is that it feels like only taking action is considered as “building business”. And I want to invite so much more inclusion of just **being in your business and with your business**. Because actually this is what lays the foundation for your “doing”! So let me ask you all who are frustrated with where you are currently are at your business, that hammer yourself that you are not successful yet: what’s the rush, especially when you’re building your life’s work? And how about the nurtured slow kind of love to build your business? How about building business inline with your body’s capacity to hold the expansion and also allowing the seeds to grow in the timing they need? You can’t rush a flower to bloom. It’s the same with every business - it has its unique way of blooming and time of unfolding. How about we embrace the beauty of slowness? P.S. Boundaries are essential to keep your business and Boundaries are essential to keep your business and yourself growing. It’s your way of defining who you are and who you are not, it’s where you start and where you end. Issues with setting boundaries often stem from childhood trauma. If when growing up you didn’t have a chance to go through the stage where you built your ego, identity and discover the power of NO in a healthy way, you may have issues with boundaries in your business too. Here are some of the ways I set boundaries in my business: - I am not available for clients on Mondays and Fridays - I only work with 5 clients at a time - I choose projects and clients that give me absolute joy, highest excitement in my body and support the highest vision of myself - I know what is true to me, what matters to me, who I am and who I am not - NO is a full sentence Strong and aligned embodiment is key for your healthy boundaries. This is how you can begin to heal your boundaries capacity. This healing is a process. You can’t skip essential and foundational steps. You have to go back to that developmental phase, until you find your feet and train this muscle. You can’t successfully expand and grow if you don’t have good boundaries. The more I grow my business, my own leadership and rise in my power, the more I am invited to take care of my boundaries. You are the owner of your business and yourself. It’s up to you how you craft it, how you want to experience yourself and what is your preferred way of being in business while you grow it. Seeing such amazing transformations lately is what Seeing such amazing transformations lately is what makes me passionate about the capacity work. I am so delighted to witness so many people having lightbulb moments redefining this unhealthy and constricting way of relating to business, doing business and being in business. It doesn’t have to be this way at all. Your business is just another way for you to experience yourself, to express yourself, to become more of yourself. And if it doesn’t feel this way, if it feels stressful, constricting, not really you or you are loosing yourself in it, it doesn’t mean business is not for you. It just means that way of relating, creating and expressing is not right for you. And there are a million ways to do business. That’s why I’m so excited about this new business paradigm. Because at the core of it, we are here to claim the freedom & rise in our own way of business formats and ways we express our gifts.
Your nervous system governs everything. Your immu Your nervous system governs everything. Your immune system, your blood circulation, your endocrine system, your emotions, muscles towards action or no action, your digestive system, your brain pathways… It’s the main guardian of your embodiment, functioning and survival in this world. Sometimes we can get ahead of ourselves. We get too ambitious, and try to grow too fast. If we don’t have the capacity to keep up and hold this growth, our nervous system can perceive this as a threat to our safety. Your nervous system a super intelligent system. It gives your body all the signs to stop when you push too far. Learning about how to regulate your nervous system, how to listen to your body and to your senses via which your nervous system speaks with you all the time, is the essence of NERVOUS SYSTEM CAPACITY work.
